Marilyn S. Nyman, M.Ed., CCC/SP

Founder and CEO

Marilyn built her reputation, and two successful businesses, on applying the art and science of communication to help clients meet their goals. Her first venture, Nyman Associates, grew over 30 years to become a leading regional provider of speech-language pathology services. With Nyman Group, Marilyn advises and coaches executives on ways to make effective communication a core competency and influence executive leadership style and outcomes.
Marilyn holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech and Language Pathology and has taught leadership theory and practice at Harvard Graduate School of Education, Principal’s Center, and The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania). As a University of Pennsylvania Fox Fellow, she taught a Communication for Effective Leadership course and is a certified facilitator for the Center for Creative Leadership’s Benchmarks® Assessment.
Active in business and community organizations, Marilyn is a board member of the Anti-Defamation League, sits on the Advisory Board Member of Salus University, and has memberships in the Forum of Executive Women, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, Speech Communication Association, and the National Speakers Association.

Jackie Reeves, M.A.

Senior Consultant

As an executive coach, workshop facilitator, and motivational speaker, Jackie combines her wealth of professional experience with an innovative approach that makes each member of her audience feel engaged and energized.
For over 25 years, Jackie has designed, developed and delivered corporate seminars in presentation skills, executive and professional presence, interpersonal communication skills, leadership and team development, cultural awareness, conflict management, cross-generational collaboration, and written communication.
Jackie draws upon a broad educational background including a Master’s Degree in Language from the University of Arkansas and a designation as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the Society for Human Resource Management. She holds certifications in training and program design & development and is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Willow Grove Chamber of Commerce, National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR), and the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW).

Pete “Alexander” Hoskins

Senior Consultant

Pete Hoskins has been a trusted advisor and consultant with Nyman Group for the past 25 years. His skillsets include: operations management, goal setting and planning, business development, strategic planning, staff-development-promotion, customer satisfaction and allegiance, leadership development, change management, P&L management/ budget planning, and negotiation skills.
Pete has served as President and CEO of the Philadelphia Zoo, and as CEO of Laurel Hill and West Laurel Hill Cemeteries. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from San Jose University and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Minnesota.

Keith Ellison

Consultant

Keith combines his high standards of academic excellence with state-of-the-art theory in each of his leadership development workshops. His professional experiences include Director of Consulting Services at The Wharton School and six successful years in sales and marketing leadership at IBM. In addition to teaching at The Wharton School and Wilkes University, Keith co-authored Conversations on Success and founded the company Next Step, which publishes a quarterly magazine on cultural diversity.
Keith has a BA in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from The Wharton School.

Dawn Kline

Dawn brings expertise in commercial, enterprise, and leadership learning development. Her accomplished professional journey includes executive-level roles with global industry leaders such as Siemens Healthineers and AmerisourceBergen, where her strategic vision and leadership was instrumental in transforming their learning programs, designing leadership academies and coaching/mentoring programs, as well as pioneering innovative learning technology and sales enablement.
With a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University, supplemented by international studies in Germany, time living abroad, and her accomplished professional journey, Dawn brings a global perspective to professional development. Her track record of success, unwavering commitment to continuous improvement, and unique skill set, make her an invaluable asset for companies seeking to elevate their organization's or team's effectiveness.

Colleen Kelly, M.A., CCC-SLP

Director, Clinical Services

"Helping patients' hopes turn into reality has been the most rewarding gift as a Speech Pathologist." Colleen started her career as a Speech Language Pathologist with Nyman Associates, Inc., in 1991 as a Clinical Fellow. She earned a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from Temple University. Colleen is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and has mentored many clinical fellows in their quest to become ASHA-certified speech pathologists. As the ASHA CE Administrator for Nyman Associates, Colleen collaborates with ASHA to provide exciting continuing education programs. She has had vast experience in treating communication and swallowing disorders in a variety of medical and outpatient settings.

John Good

Consultant

John has worked as an advisor and neutral in the area of negotiation and conflict management for over 25 years, pioneering the application of “Interest Based” negotiating techniques. His experience includes working with multi-national companies on M&A and cultural integration; training diplomats, officials, and mediators in Russia & Ukraine on negotiation and conflict resolution; facilitating a successful process of cooperation in the Middle East on chemical and biological threats; and mediating contract negotiations between labor and management in telecom, energy, education, and government.
John has studied, worked, and lectured with the Harvard Program on Negotiation, been a guest lecturer at Drexel University and The Wharton School, and served on the Labor Panel of the American Arbitration Association.

Theresa Hummel-Krallinger

Consultant

Theresa is a well-respected corporate trainer, executive coach and performance consultant for Nyman Group. Known for her lively and interactive delivery style, she is a frequently requested speaker on topics of employee morale, professional development, performance improvement, customer service, negotiations, conflict management, and other workplace communications topics.
Theresa graduated from the prestigious leadership development organization, Women Unlimited in NYC, where she currently serves as a mentor to rising female leaders. She also holds a degree from Chestnut Hill College in Biology/Chemistry. With certifications in Human Resource Management, Behavioral Styles training/coaching, Crucial Conversations, instructional design, adult learning, and technical writing, Theresa has a broad array of business tools and educational experiences from which to draw. She is an adjunct instructor with Temple University’s Business Agenda, where her course, “What’s Your Point?”, is part of their project management certificate program. Having been published in several professional journals, Theresa is currently writing a book.

Amrita V. Subramanian, MSOD

With 17 years of robust experience in business operations and strategic planning & execution, Amrita creates sustainable solutions to solve individual and organizational problems. Her impressive academic background includes adjunct professorship at the University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. in organizational dynamics, and a graduate certificate in coaching, consulting and leadership.

Alisa Walter

Consultant

With a specialty in communication, production and wellness coaching, Alisa brings very unique talents to Nyman’s training & development programs. As an alumna of Temple University’s School of Communications and Theater, she has produced award-winning broadcasts for CN8, The Comcast Network’s It’s Your Call with Lynn Doyle, and she has developed show topics for WHYY’s Voices in the Family with Dan Gottlieb. Alisa has freelanced as casting director and producer for such productions as Freeform’s Disney Fairy Tale Weddings and SyFy’s Wizard Wars. Her clientele have included such high-profile celebrities as A. Smith & Co., Beverly D’Angelo, and Claire Danes.

Donna Quinn

Executive Assistant

Donna has been with Nyman Group for over 4 years where she is primarily responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Nyman team.  She is also responsible for the overall office management functions and facilitates the meetings and financial activities of Nyman.  Prior to joining Nyman Group, Donna held various client services positions within the financial services/investment-advisory industry.
